Natalee Wright is an artist based in Columbia City, Indiana, with a diverse background in social work, behavioral health, and life coaching. Holding a master's degree in forensic psychology, she has dedicated her career to serving communities through various roles including child abuse investigations, foster care case management, senior case management, and behavioral consulting for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Art has been a constant in Natalee's life, from her early days of selling fingerpainting artwork as a child under the tree in her front yard to her current explorations in art focused on promoting growth, healing, and creativity. Influenced by artists such as Georgia O'Keefe, Salvador Dali, and Edvard Munch, Natalee's work reflects an eclectic mix of styles and mediums. She firmly believes in the freedom of expression, allowing each piece to flow naturally without being confined by a specific movement or medium.
Natalee is an active member of the Fort Wayne Artist’s Guild and active board member of 2nd Floor Gallery & Studio, where she contributes to the local art community by fostering a space for emerging artists and promoting the appreciation of diverse artistic expressions.
She has participated in numerous juried group exhibitions. Some of her most recent notable exhibitions and awards include the Girl Power! Group Exhibition (2024), Women 2024 Group Exhibition (2024), Piece of Me Group Exhibition (2024), Biafarin Awards (2023), Gallerium’s Spirituality Group exhibition (2023), Heartland Artists Gallery Juried Exhibition (2023), KBM Studio’s Paint Your Heart Out exhibition (2023), Cape Coral’s Aquarium exhibit (2006 & 2007), and the Alliance of the Arts LAEA exhibition (2000 & 2000), where she won Second Place in Colored Pencil Drawing.
In addition to her group exhibitions, Natalee has also held solo exhibitions. "Restorative Reflections" (2024) and "Fractions of the Mind" (2006) provided platforms for her to showcase her work in a more focused and introspective setting. Her artwork "Mariposa Reve: A Quiet Reflection" was featured in Artistonish Magazine (September 2023), showcasing her ability to create art that resonates with viewers on a deeper level.
Currently working from her small art studio on her family's farm, Natalee continues to explore the transformative power of art, aiming to inspire others and foster connections through her creative expressions.

I am an eclectic and intuitive artist on a journey to rediscover and reclaim my self-expression. I came back to art in 2022 in the wake of a series of unforeseen events that re-shaped my world and everything in it.
My art speaks to the human experience and all of it eccentricities. My art forges connections to those who have experienced grief, healing and growth in the wake of struggle and pain. It challenges others to contemplate their own emotions, traumas, and grief. My art encourages people to focus on their resilience, growth, and healing. I am passionate about inspiring others, and through the art I create, I hope viewers will be encouraged to embrace the vulnerability in themselves and find strength through understanding and acceptance.
